Wan was born and raised in Laos, and has a background in education and finance. After moving to Thailand to be with her sister, she found herself working with her sister in a red light district area as a waitress. After a few months, her sister, who had previously been to a Beginnings Christmas party, went to Ann and asked her to take Wan in. Wan moved into Beginnings, and shortly after gave her life to Christ. In 2012, Wan moved out to be with her husband, and they were blessed with a son, Nawa. Sadly, her husband was killed in an accident when Nawa was only 2 years old. In her time of need, God led her back to Beginnings Foundation, and she has been with us ever since!
Wan lives in Pattaya, where she keeps the house and garden maintained and clean, helps care for the young residents, and does outreach. She loves to study the Bible, listen to worship music, and eat spicy food! After everything she has been through, she has a burden for others to receive what she has been given: the great agape love of God.
