Paweena (Punn) Khamwisaeng,
Assistant to the Director
After earning a degree in mass communications, Pun worked as a newspaper reporter for a few months. She realized pretty quickly that it wasn't for her, and began job searching. She bounced around from job to job for a while, until she came to know the Lord. God opened up an opportunity for her to work with a helping organization, providing tsunami recovery and child sponsorship. It was during this type of work that she found her calling. Being friends with Ann (Beginnings Director) already, she was invited to work part time for Beginnings Foundation doing translation, and the rest is history!
Pun loves the challenge that comes from her work at Beginnings, including event planning and communication. She especially enjoys her weekly life skills training with the residents at Beginnings. She finds true purpose in transforming those who receive, into the next generation of helpers. In her free time, she loves to watch psychology videos on YouTube, and is so grateful for the brothers and sisters in Christ she has been able to befriend through Beginnings.
